Even if your school doesn’t have a subscription, you can still make great use of the free resources available on Dr Frost Maths.
All teachers can browse, download, and teach with our full range of materials — there’s no time limit and no hidden costs.
A subscription unlocks additional tools for managing classes, creating your own worksheets, setting auto-marking class activities or homework and tracking progress.
What can I still use without a subscription?
You’ll still have access to lots of great tools and support for planning and delivering lessons:
- Browse and download our full collection of pre-made worksheets, including past exam papers.
- Use the complete range of lesson resources for your classroom teaching.
- Browse all question generators and exam questions across the curriculum.
- Explore our library of pre-made courses to support lesson planning and student progression.
These features are available to all teachers for free.
Inviting teachers to your school
Even without a subscription, you can still invite colleagues to join your school on Dr Frost Maths.
Why this matters: If colleagues register separately, they might accidentally create a duplicate school entry. By inviting them to your existing school setup, everyone stays organised under one school account - and when you do subscribe, all your teachers immediately get access to the full features.

What’s restricted without a subscription?
Without an active school subscription, you won’t have access to our interactive and management tools, including:
- Creating and managing student accounts or classes, including syncing with your school MIS via Wonde.
- Creating custom worksheets or setting them as tasks for your students.
- Assigning flexible tasks using question generators and exam questions.
- Viewing progress data and detailed student analytics.
- Hosting Live! interactive games with your students.
These features become available as soon as your school subscribes.
If your school’s subscription is expiring
Don’t worry - nothing will be lost permanently if your subscription expires.
- Your classes, students, and course assignments will remain in place, but can’t be edited until the subscription is renewed.
- Your custom worksheets will still be saved and available again once your school resubscribes. You can also download them before expiry if you wish.
- Progress data will be accessible again upon renewal of your school’s subscription.
All data is retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy and may be deleted in line with those terms.
Do students lose any access?
No - your students’ experience stays the same.
They can still log in, complete any available tasks, and access all learning materials and videos as usual.
How can my school get full access?
If your school is ready to explore all features - from interactive lessons to progress tracking - you can upgrade at any time.
