Ready to get your school started with Dr Frost Maths? This guide walks you through creating your teacher account and beginning your 60-day free trial with full access to all features.
The registration process takes just a few minutes and will set up both your teacher account and your school's trial subscription.
Step 1: Sign up
Visit the Dr Frost Maths homepage and click the Sign up button or follow this link to the registration page.
You'll see three signup choices. Choose "I'm a Teacher setting up my school" to start your school's trial.
Step 2: Enter your email address
You'll be asked to enter your email address to begin the registration process.
Important: Use your school email address rather than a personal email. This helps with account management and complies with your school's policies for managing staff accounts and IT systems.
Step 3: Verify your email address
Dr Frost will immediately send a verification email to the address you provided. You'll see onscreen instructions to:
Check your inbox for an email from Dr Frost Maths with the subject "Verify your email address."
Click the verification link in the email to confirm your address and continue with registration.
Having email delivery issues? See our guide: I'm not receiving emails from Dr Frost
Step 4: Search for your school
Start typing your school name in the search box. Dr Frost will show matching schools as you type.
Look carefully for your school in the results. Schools might appear with slight variations in name or formatting.
Try different search terms if you don't see your school immediately:
- Try both full and abbreviated names (e.g., "Saint Mary's" and "St Mary's")
- Search by your postcode instead of school name
- Check for variations in spacing or punctuation
Can't find your school? Click "Can't find your school?" to add it manually.
Important: Take time to search thoroughly before adding a new school. If you create a duplicate entry for an existing school, the accounts cannot be merged later.
Step 5: Enter your school details (if adding a new school)
If your school isn't found, you'll need to provide:
- School name
- Town or city and Postcode
- Country and Timezone
- School phase (Primary, Secondary, etc.) and age ranges
- Website (optional)
Take care with these details - what you enter here will be displayed as your school's information to all teachers and students who use the platform at your school. Make sure the school name and location details are accurate and professional.
Double-check your school details before continuing.
Step 6: Create your account
You'll now choose your signup method and enter your account details:
Choose your signup method:
- Google (if your school uses Google Workspace)
- Microsoft (if your school uses Microsoft 365)
- Email and password
If using email and password signup, you'll need to provide:
- First name and Last name
- Password and password confirmation
Review your information and click "Create account".
Step 7: Invite your colleagues (optional)
After creating your account, you can immediately invite colleagues to join your school on Dr Frost Maths.
Add colleague email addresses in the email field. You can invite multiple teachers by using the "Add email address" button to create additional fields.
Send invitations by clicking the "Send" button, or "Skip for now" if you prefer to invite colleagues later.
What happens next? Invited teachers will receive an email invitation to join your school's Dr Frost Maths account. They can then create their own teacher accounts linked to your school.
You can always invite more teachers later through the Settings > Teachers section of your account.
This step helps you get your whole maths department involved from the start of your trial, but it's completely optional if you want to explore the platform on your own first.
Step 8: Finalise - Your trial is ready!
Congratulations! Your school now has full access to Dr Frost for 60 days.
Pricing information:
- UK schools: £650 + VAT
- International schools: £750
Choose what to do next:
- Manage subscription - Set up your school's paid subscription and get the invoicing process started with your finance department (this can take time to process, so starting early is recommended)
- Continue with free trial - Start exploring the platform
You can subscribe at any time during your trial. Your paid subscription will start when the trial ends, so you won't lose any free days.
What happens next?
Once you click "Continue with free trial," you'll be taken to your Dr Frost Maths dashboard where you can:
- Browse or create courses that map to your scheme of work
- Explore the questions and resource bank
- Set up your first class
- Create worksheets and set tasks for students
- Invite more teachers to join your school
Your 60-day trial gives you complete access to experience everything Dr Frost Maths has to offer!

If you accidentally created a duplicate school, contact us immediately - we may be able to help if you haven't started using the account yet, but we cannot merge schools once they're in active use.
